Wylam First School PTFA events can vary but our main annual fundraiser events include:
- School Valentines Disco
- Easter Bingo
- Adult Bonkers Bingo
- Christmas Wreath Making Course
- Christmas Fayre
Small fundraiser events include:
- Second hand uniform sales
- Christmas card sales
- Cake bake sales
Fundraising and grant applications:
Our PTFA are always looking for innovative ways to raise funds. In addition to event organisation the PTFA aim to raise funds by applying to local and national grant makers. We are interested to know if your company has a charitable foundation or community fund that could help us out. If you believe that your company might have a program that could benefit the PTFA and provide us with a valuable income boost, please get in touch with Laura Featherstone (07731754420) or Jo Wiseman (07590076790).

Tesco Stronger Starts:
Wylam First School has been selected by Tesco as one of the the three charities to face their blue token public vote. If you shop in Tesco Hexham or Amble Tesco, please look out for the blue tokens in store and use yours for us. Plus, if your friends, family, neighbours or colleagues shop in Tesco, please encourage them to vote for us too.
Voting commenced mid January 2024 and finishes at the end of March 2024. The project with the highest number of votes receives £1,500.
Easy Fundraising:

Party supplies hire service:
The PTFA offer a party supply package for hire for a donation at your discretion.
The pack consists of the following: 40 plates, 40 cups, 40 bowls, 3 larger bowls and a box of spoons.
